b33 Privacy Policy — Your Data, Protected
b33 is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.
Introduction
How b33 approaches data privacy and why it matters to every player
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how b33 ("b33", "we", "us", "our") collects, processes, stores, and protects the personal data of users ("Player", "User", "you") who access and use the b33 online gaming platform available at https://b33.cam ("Platform"). This Policy applies to all data collected through the Platform, including during account registration, gameplay, payment processing, customer support interactions, and any marketing communications you have opted into. By creating a b33 account and using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described herein. If you do not consent, you must not create a b33 account or use the Platform.
b33 takes data privacy seriously. The Platform is designed to collect only the personal data that is genuinely necessary for the delivery of our gaming services, the processing of deposits and withdrawals, compliance with responsible gaming obligations, and compliance with applicable anti-money laundering and know-your-customer requirements. We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for purposes beyond those described in this Policy without first obtaining your explicit consent. This Policy is written in plain language so that every b33 player — whether in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, or anywhere else in Bangladesh — can clearly understand what happens to their data when they use b33.
What Personal Data We Collect
The six categories of personal data b33 may collect from you
How We Use Your Personal Data
The legal bases and practical purposes for which b33 processes your personal data
2.1 Service Delivery
The primary purpose for which b33 processes your personal data is to deliver the gaming services you have contracted for. This includes processing your account registration, authenticating your identity when you log in, processing deposits and withdrawals through your chosen mobile wallet, maintaining your game history and account balance, applying and tracking bonuses and wagering requirements, and administering responsible gaming tools you activate. Without this processing, b33 cannot provide the gaming services described in the Terms & Conditions.
2.2 Legal and Regulatory Compliance
b33 is required by applicable law and responsible gaming obligations to process certain categories of personal data. Specifically:
- Age and identity verification data is processed to comply with our 21+ age restriction and to prevent access by underage players.
- Financial transaction data is processed to meet anti-money laundering (AML) monitoring requirements and to report suspicious transactions as required by applicable regulations.
- Responsible gaming data (including deposit limits, session timers, and self-exclusion status) is processed to fulfil our duty of care to players who have activated these protective tools.
- KYC documentation is retained for the period required under applicable financial crime prevention laws, even after an account is closed.
2.3 Platform Improvement and Fraud Prevention
b33 processes technical data (including IP addresses, device identifiers, and session data) on the basis of its legitimate interest in maintaining the security, integrity, and performance of the Platform. This data is used to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, to identify and block multiple-account abuse, to monitor for unusual betting patterns that may indicate collusion or the use of automated software, and to optimise Platform performance for users across Bangladesh on variable mobile network conditions. This technical processing does not involve automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individual users.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
Who b33 shares your data with and under what circumstances
b33 does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your personal data is shared only in the limited circumstances described below, and only to the extent necessary for the specific purpose of the disclosure.
3.1 Service Providers
b33 engages trusted third-party service providers to assist in the operation of the Platform. These include payment processing partners (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay) who receive only the transaction data necessary to process your deposit or withdrawal; KYC and identity verification partners who receive only the documentation you provide for verification purposes; game content providers such as Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, Ezugi, Spribe, and Microgaming who receive anonymised session data necessary to deliver game content; and technical infrastructure providers who host the Platform and who process data only under b33's documented instructions. All service providers are contractually bound to process your data solely for the purpose for which it was shared and to maintain appropriate security standards.
3.2 Legal Disclosures
b33 may be required to disclose personal data to law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, or courts in response to a lawful request, court order, or legal obligation. b33 will disclose only the minimum information required to satisfy the legal obligation and, where permitted by law, will take reasonable steps to notify the affected user of the disclosure request before complying. b33 will not disclose personal data to law enforcement agencies on the basis of informal or unverified requests.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
How b33 uses cookies and similar technologies on the Platform
b33 uses cookies and similar local storage technologies on the Platform to maintain session state, authenticate returning users, and measure aggregate Platform usage patterns. b33 does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking scripts that would allow third-party advertisers to build profiles of your browsing behaviour across the web.
4.1 Cookie Categories Used on b33
The following types of cookies may be set when you use the b33 Platform:
- Strictly necessary cookies: required for the Platform to function. These include session cookies that authenticate your login state and security cookies that protect against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be disabled without preventing you from using the Platform.
- Functional cookies: remember your preferences such as language selection and responsible gaming tool settings so that your chosen configuration is applied each time you return to the Platform.
- Analytics cookies: collect anonymised aggregate data about how users navigate the Platform, which pages are most visited, and where users typically exit. This data helps b33 improve the Platform experience. No individual user is identifiable from analytics data.
You may control cookie settings through your mobile browser's privacy settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the b33 Platform from functioning correctly and will log you out of any active session.
Data Security
The technical and organisational measures b33 uses to keep your data safe
b33 implements industry-standard technical and organisational security measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. All data transmitted between your device and the b33 Platform is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS encryption. Account authentication uses one-time password (OTP) verification via the mobile number registered to your account, reducing the risk of unauthorised access even if a password is compromised. Financial transaction data is processed exclusively through the API infrastructure of the relevant mobile financial service (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or Upay) and is not stored in plain text on b33 systems.
Despite these measures, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure. b33 cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted over the internet. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to the rights or interests of affected users, b33 will take prompt action to contain the breach, assess its scope and impact, and notify affected users as quickly as practicable. b33 will never contact you by phone or live chat to ask for your account password, PIN, or OTP codes — any such request should be treated as fraudulent and reported to b33 customer support immediately.
Your Data Rights
The rights you have over your personal data and how to exercise them
-
Right of AccessYou may request a copy of the personal data b33 holds about you at any time by contacting customer support. b33 will provide this within a reasonable timeframe.
-
Right to RectificationIf any personal data b33 holds about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request that it be corrected. Contact customer support with the details of the correction required.
-
Right to ErasureYou may request deletion of your personal data. Note that b33 may be legally required to retain certain categories of data (e.g. KYC records, transaction logs) for defined retention periods even after your account is closed.
-
Right to ObjectYou may object to b33 processing your personal data for marketing purposes at any time. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests where you have grounds specific to your situation.
-
Right to Data PortabilityYou may request a structured, machine-readable copy of the personal data you provided to b33, to the extent that b33 processes that data on the basis of your consent or a contract with you.
Data Retention and Policy Updates
How long b33 keeps your data and how we notify you of changes to this Policy
6.1 Retention Periods
b33 retains personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by applicable law. Account data (registration details, game history, transaction records) is retained for the duration of the account and for a period of up to 5 years following account closure, consistent with financial record-keeping obligations. KYC and identity verification documents are retained for the period required under applicable anti-money laundering legislation. Customer support communications are retained for up to 2 years from the date of the interaction. Technical and analytics data is retained in anonymised aggregate form for up to 3 years. After the applicable retention period expires, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be associated with an identifiable individual.
6.2 Children and Minors
The b33 Platform is strictly for users aged 21 and above. b33 does not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under the age of 21. If b33 discovers that personal data has been collected from an individual under 21 — whether through a false declaration at registration or any other means — b33 will immediately close the relevant account, void any transactions, and securely delete all associated personal data. Parents and guardians who have reason to believe that a minor has registered a b33 account should contact customer support immediately.
6.3 Changes to This Privacy Policy
b33 may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, changes in applicable law, or improvements to the Platform. When material changes are made, b33 will publish the updated Policy at https://b33.cam/privacy-policy with a revised effective date, and will use reasonable efforts to notify registered users via the Platform or by SMS. Your continued use of the b33 Platform following publication of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not accept the revised Policy, you must close your account and cease using the Platform. The most current version of this Privacy Policy is always available at https://b33.cam/privacy-policy.
